Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports 

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, a research-based framework used in schools to create positive learning environments by defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behaviors to improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes for all students. It's a proactive, systems-level approach that focuses on preventing problem behaviors by promoting positive ones, rather than just reacting to misbehavior.
